General Eye Examination

Our eyes, our window opening to the world, are the most complex organs in our body. It contains body tissues as well as tissues specific to itself. This complex structure may be affected by many genetic and systemic diseases. In order to detect these diseases, in which early diagnosis and treatment are crucial, even though there are no complaints, a regular eye examination is important.

This examination includes the following tests as standard;

• Determination of visual acuity with and without glasses
• Biomicroscopic examination
• Refraction test
• Measurement of intraocular pressure
• Retinal examination

If necessary, the physician may request a more detailed examination and tests.
