How is Phakic (Intraocular) Lens Treatment?

In myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism cases which are not suitable for Laser Eye Surgery, Phakic Lens Treatment (ICL) may be an alternative. In high myopia and hypermetropia, successful results are obtained by this surgical operation which is reversible. This operation which takes approximately 5 minutes is performed by experienced doctors in our clinic.

The lens implanted into the eye is transparent and it is made by a medical material that can stay for a lifetime without making any trouble. After the operation, these lenses are not visible from the outside and the substance of the lens isn’t felt by the patient. This lens can be explanted upon patient’s request.
